We opened the Trendyol 1. Lig season at home with a goalless draw against Mardin 1969 Spor. We had six shots on target but could not find the net.
On the opening weekend of the 2026/27 Trendyol 1. Lig season we drew 0-0 at home with Mardin 1969 Spor at the Ümraniye City Stadium.
Six shots on target, no goals
We kept a clean sheet on opening day but could not find the opposition net. The most striking line in the statistics was shots on target: we tested the goalkeeper six times, our visitors only once.
That figure shows we were the better side for much of the match — the chances simply did not turn into goals.
An even contest
Possession finished 47-53, marginally in our visitors' favour, and the passing counts were close at 392 to 445. The one heading that broke the balance on the pitch was the number of shots reaching the goal.
Notes from the match
We received one booking and our visitors two. The referee was Burak Demirkıran.
Where the season stands
We began the season on one point. The team's first win would come in week 8, away at Bandırmaspor.
