Three goals in fifteen minutes
The first half finished goalless; the goals arrived in quick succession midway through the second. A. Pesic put the hosts ahead in the 60th minute, assisted by Muhammed Sarıkaya.
Our reply was swift: Cebio Soukou made it 1-1 in the 71st minute. The parity did not last — Pesic struck again in the 75th, this time set up by Emre Akbaba, to settle the match.
We held the ball but lost the game
Despite playing away, we controlled the game. Possession finished 59-41 in our favour and we led the passing count clearly, 547 to 388.
Shots on target were level at 7-7 — both sides tested the goalkeeper equally often. The difference was made by Pesic's two goals.
