A young option between the posts
Kerem Yusuf Ersunar will serve as a goalkeeper. Cihan Topaloğlu has kept goal since the start of the season, with Özgün Ali Köklü and Emir Yusuf Uygun also in the squad. Ersunar's arrival takes the number of options in that position to four.
Three signings as the window closed
Ersunar's transfer was one of three deals announced in quick succession on the night of 4 September. Agreements with central midfielder Abdulkadir Parmak and centre-back Burak Öksüz were confirmed the same night, strengthening goal, defence and midfield hours before the window shut.
