POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re seeking a dependable and hands-on Vacation Rental Handyman to support the upkeep of our vacation rental homes throughout Saugatuck, Douglas, and surrounding lakeshore areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys light maintenance tasks, staying organized, and jumping in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.

You’ll handle a variety of responsibilities, from yard work and small paint jobs to hot tub upkeep, refilling propane tanks, and occasional errands. A reliable vehicle and strong work ethic are key. This position may be seasonal (summer only) or part-time year-round, based on your availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform light handyman tasks: weeding, touch-up painting, and other small home fixes
• Oversee hot tub upkeep (training provided if needed)
• Refill propane tanks and restock home supplies
• Run errands to pick up materials and items for properties
• Support minor general maintenance tasks as needed
• Keep outdoor areas looking guest-ready
• Maintain good communication with the team and complete tasks efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Basic home repair skills preferred
• Comfortable with physical tasks and outdoor work
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Dependable transportation
• Strong communication skills
• Basic Pool/hot tub or landscaping experience is a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $18.50 – $21.00/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Flexible (some weekends required) Seasonal summer or part-time year-round options are available

Bonus: Attendance and performance bonus paid on October 1st
