Job Description

Job Title: UX/UI Product Designer

Type of Employment: Full-Time

Location: Remote (LATAM only)

Time zone overlap: Ability to work with at least 4 hours of overlap with Central European working hours (CET/CEST).

About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on UX/UI Designe r to join a cross-border team developing a web platform that manages industrial IoT devices. You'll redesign and evolve a data-heavy B2B web application used to install, configure, and monitor IoT devices on industrial equipment. Your mission: make complex workflows feel simple, intuitive, and "no training required" - while elevating the visual design beyond the usual black/white/blue enterprise look. You'll work closely with the client's CTO and Project Manager in Europe, plus Puzzle's engineering team in LATAM, turning requirements and existing flows into modern, beautiful, and highly usable interfaces. This is a role for someone who cares deeply about both usability and visual craft , and who isn't afraid to bring bold ideas to the table.

What You'll Do

  • Own the UX/UI for a web platform that manages IoT devices and installation/configuration flows.
  • Refactor the existing interface to be more usable and self-explanatory, reducing the need for training.
  • Design end-to-end user flows (e.g., installing a new IoT device, managing devices, viewing historical data) and simplify multi-step processes.
  • Create modern, responsive layouts for desktop-first experiences that also work well on tablets and mobile.
  • Work in Figma to deliver interactive prototypes, flows, and clear handoff specs for developers.
  • Propose UX and UI improvements based on pain points you identify, not just what's already defined.
  • Collaborate closely with the CTO, PM, and developers to ensure feasibility and smooth implementation.
  • Participate in design reviews, explain your design decisions, and iterate based on feedback.
  • Contribute to a consistent visual language and design system that can extend to the marketing site and other touchpoints over time.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer / UX/UI Designer working on web applications (B2B, SaaS, or complex tools preferred).
  • Strong Figma skills: components, auto-layout, design systems, interactive prototypes, flows.
  • Proven experience designing complex, data-rich interfaces (dashboards, admin panels, configuration tools, etc.).
  • Solid UX skills: translating requirements into clear user journeys, simplifying workflows, and making interfaces self-explanatory.
  • Strong visual design eye: modern, clean, and "pretty" interfaces with a clear sense of hierarchy, spacing, and typography.
  • Experience designing responsive web interfaces (desktop, tablet, and mobile views).
  • Portfolio that shows both : UX thinking (flows, problem-solving, before/after, rationale), and High-quality UI (polish, personality, consistent visual language).
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and iterating quickly.
  • Time zone overlap: Ability to work with at least 4 hours of overlap with Central European working hours (CET/CEST) .
  • Advanced written and spoken English (you'll work daily with a European client).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Webflow or similar tools for marketing websites.
  • Experience working on or aligning brand identity across product, marketing site, and presentations.
  • Background in IoT, industrial systems, or technical B2B products .
  • Experience designing data visualizations (metrics, charts, performance/savings graphs).
  • Exposure to front-end implementation constraints and developer handoff best practices.
  • Prior experience working with fully remote, international teams.

What We're Looking For in You

  • You see yourself as an "artist with a product mindset" : strong taste, but always in service of the user and the business.
  • You bring ideas, not just execution - you suggest ways to improve flows, reduce friction, and make the product delightful.
  • You're comfortable working from an existing platform and elevating it rather than starting from a blank slate every time.
  • You care about the details: micro-interactions, empty states, edge cases, and how everything ties together.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Earn a competitive salary that matches your skills and experience.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO to support work-life balance.
  • Health Insurance: Subsidized private health insurance coverage.
  • Annual Salary Reviews: Regular performance-based salary evaluations.
  • Training: Paid training and certification opportunities.
