Job Description

Salary: $209,000 - 286,200 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and constructing data-heavy solutions using distributed computing (Internship experience does not count)
• At least 4 years of programming experience with Python, Scala, or Java
• A minimum of 3 years in building, scaling, and optimizing machine learning systems
• At least 2 years of experience in leading teams in the development of machine learning solutions
• Preferred Masters or doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline
• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning solutions in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Over 4 years of hands-on experience with a recognized machine learning framework such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow
• More than 3 years of writing efficient, robust, and maintainable code
• At least 3 years of experience in data gathering and preparation for machine learning models
• More than 3 years of people management experience
• Contribution to ML industry through presentations, publications, blogs, open-source projects, or patents
• Over 3 years in creating production-ready data pipelines that support machine learning models
• Strong ability to express complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

• Design, develop, and deliver machine learning models and components that address real-world business challenges, collaborating effectively with Product and Data Science teams.
• Utilize understanding of machine learning modeling techniques to inform infrastructure decisions, including model selection, data specifications, feature selection, model training, hyperparameter optimization, dimensionality, bias/variance, and validation.
• Address intricate problems by writing and testing application code, developing and validating machine learning models, and automating testing and deployment processes.
• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional Agile team to enhance software that supports cutting-edge big data and machine learning applications.
• Ensure models in production are retrained, maintained, and monitored effectively.
• Utilize or construct cloud-based architectures and technologies to deliver optimized machine learning models at scale.
• Build efficient data pipelines to provide input for machine learning models.
• Implement best practices in continuous integration and deployment, including test automation and monitoring, to ensure the successful launch of machine learning models and application code.
• Maintain high standards for code management to minimize vulnerabilities, ensuring models are governed effectively regarding risk, and adhering to best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI.
