The Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit a research assistant in Mathematics, starting December 1, 2025, to work under the supervision of Prof. Pierre Youssef on subjects including (in no particular order):
While excellent candidates with other research interest may be considered, a priority will be given to those able to relate to one or several of the above topics.
The research assistant will be appointed for a duration of one year, which could be extended. Applicants must have a Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or any other related field. The ideal candidate will have solid mathematical background together with solid knowledge of machine leaning and Data Science.
Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and scientific creativity are essential.
