About Us:
We are a growing law firm in Boca Raton committed to delivering exceptional legal services with professionalism and care. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a part-time Accountant to manage key financial operations and ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations.

Position Overview:
The Part-Time Accountant will handle core accounting functions for the firm, including billing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and trust account reconciliation. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who values flexibility while working in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial transactions including billing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with quarterly/annual statements.

  • Reconcile client trust accounts in compliance with Florida Bar regulations.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and track cash flow.

  • Assist with tax compliance and year-end audit preparation.

  • Provide accurate financial insights to firm leadership as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).

  • 3+ years of accounting experience (law firm or professional services strongly preferred).

  • Knowledge of legal billing practices and trust accounting compliance.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Clio, or similar).

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
