About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled
Level 3 Network Engineer to lead advanced infrastructure projects and serve as a top-tier escalation resource. This position involves designing and implementing secure, scalable network solutions while balancing strategic architecture with hands-on execution. You will work across diverse environments, supporting both onsite and remote client needs.
Job Description As a senior network engineer, you will:
- Architect, implement, and maintain complex network solutions including firewalls, switching, routing, wireless, and VoIP technologies.
- Act as the highest-level escalation point for networking issues across multiple client environments.
- Lead major network initiatives such as upgrades, redesigns, migrations, wireless deployments, and VoIP expansions.
- Conduct network assessments and design solutions that prioritize security, scalability, and performance.
- Manage integrations, redundancy planning, and security hardening.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with leadership on technology strategy and best practices.
- Balance onsite fieldwork with remote engineering based on project requirements.
Qualifications Required: - 5–10+ years of advanced network engineering experience, preferably in an MSP or consulting environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall, Cisco, etc.)
- Advanced switching & routing (Layer 3, STP, OSPF/BGP, VLAN design)
- Wireless design & deployment
- VoIP systems and network-level QoS
- Strong experience designing and implementing complex network topologies.
- Ability to manage enterprise-level or multi-site projects end-to-end.
- Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.
Preferred: - CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced certifications.
- Experience with server/VM environments or hybrid roles.
- Proven success in managing high-impact, multi-technology network projects.
