As a nail technician, you will provide professional nail, hand and foot treatments to our residents, staff, and visitors. Provide professional nail, hand, and foot treatments services that meet spa protocols and accepted certified practices. Properly care for equipment with attention paid to appropriate use of products. Preferred knowledge of salon care techniques that support senior customers and aging nails, hands and feet. Maintains work station, prep area and supply spaces meeting the sanitizing mandates of Whitney Center and the State of CT. Stay current in in-service training and course curriculums assigned by Whitney Center. Responsible for scheduling appointments and cashing out customers. Create customer profiles to build relationships that know and anticipate the preferences and needs of customers. Communicate to the Supervisor and/or Admin in a timely manner of any occurrences involving staff or clients that require attention. Salon follows all State, Federal and CDC guidelines. Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificate from an accredited cosmetology school preferred. Professional Experience: Nail technician certification
