Job Title: Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Lakewood, CO 80214

Type: Direct Hire 

Pay Rate: $34-$40/hour + $2.50/hr shift differential. 

Schedule:  Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10:00pm   OR    Monday-Friday 9:30pm-6:00am



Overview:


Medical Device Manufacturing Company is seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics to join their team! This role offers a newer, modern environment where your skills directly impact the production of life-changing medical technologies.   



Responsibilities : 

• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on simple/manual; semi automated; and certain aspects of fully automated manufacturing equipment.
• Corrective maintenance activities include: troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems; and minor equipment performance improvement activities
• Supports equipment performance improvement projects and process validation activities.
• Contributes to process optimization and scrap reduction efforts through equipment design improvements, improvements to operating and maintenance procedures, and maintenance activities.
• Independently troubleshoots equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability.
• Implements permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurrent problems

Requirements : 

• High School or GED
• 2-5 years of hands on experience troubleshooting Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic/Pneumatic  Controls Logic, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), Ethernet communication, DeviceNet, Networks in an industrial, ideally heavily regulated (device, pharma, biotech, defense, aerospace)
• 2+ years of PLC experience required
• Experience with root cause analysis
• Experience supporting production and maintenance for medical devices
• Looking for mechanical/electrical aptitude, PLC understanding
