Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities :
- Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements including, but not limited to, software agreements and other vendor agreements
- Assist with legal affairs of RH’s centralized corporate functions, including Strategic Sourcing, IT, Information Security, Physical Security, Risk Management and work with external counsel
- Create and maintain forms and standard provisions for legal documents
- Participate in enterprise-wide legal team meetings and activities including affiliated businesses
- Understand and support full range of regulatory compliance programs, including state and federal requirements regarding privacy and artificial intelligence
- Assist with acquisition activities, including due diligence, negotiations, purchase agreement drafting and integration of new businesses
- Assist with legal review of software platforms, websites, and artificial intelligence use cases.
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from a respected law school with strong academic record and 3 plus years of law firm experience
- Admission to a U.S. state bar with an active license and compliance with requirements for in-house practice in the State of Illinois
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
