Investor Relations Manager
Aligned Solutions is seeking an Investor Relations Manager for a well respected company. The Investor Relations Manager will play a key role in capital formation by cultivating and managing equity investor relationships for real estate development projects. This individual will oversee all investor communications, coordinate equity fundraising strategies at the project level, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure capital needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Equity Capital Raising
Source and cultivate new equity partners, including High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices, and Private Equity Firms.
Strategically manage and expand existing investor relationships to support ongoing and future capital needs.
Lead the preparation and organization of equity schedules and fundraising strategies across the development portfolio.
Collaborate with Investments and Asset Management teams to support capital raising initiatives, including offering materials and term negotiations.
Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive list of potential investors, tracking engagement history and preferences.
Travel as needed to meet with investors, attend conferences, and conduct site tours.
Investor Relations & Reporting
Manage investor communications and coordinate monthly and annual reporting packages in partnership with Legal, Accounting, Investments, and Asset Management teams.
Ensure compliance with operating agreements and investor-related regulatory requirements.
Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, terms, and competitor activity in real estate capital markets.
CRM & Events
Oversee the investor CRM platform, ensuring accurate data management and engagement tracking.
Plan and coordinate investor events, meetings, and conference participation to strengthen relationships and support capital campaigns.
Industry Engagement
Represent the company at key real estate capital markets conferences to build relationships and identify emerging capital sources.
Provide market intelligence to support strategic planning and project positioning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, private equity, or real estate finance.
Proven success in raising equity capital for real estate or comparable investment vehicles.
Strong understanding of equity structures, joint venture agreements, and investor reporting practices.
Experience with promote structures and waterfall modeling in joint ventures.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
High level of professionalism and discretion in investor communications.
Fluency in Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
