The **Installation Technician** will plan and perform security system installations, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and demolition tasks. Security systems include access control systems, burglar alarm systems, IP Cameras and other electronic and physical security systems. **Duties and Responsibilities** + Read and understand drawings and equipment schematics. + Provide direction and leadership for system installations. + Install and program Alarm (Intrusion), Access Control, IP video systems. + Provide updates to project manager and customers. + Test, troubleshoot and preform necessary corrections to security system. **Requirements** + High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent. + At least one (1) year of security, construction or network installation experience. + Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control) helpful. + Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices. + Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, work extended hours, and travel independently. + Willing to travel up to 40% of the time. **Qualifications** + Prior troubleshooting experience a plus. + Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Project a bonus. + Willingness to travel on the East Coast, if needed. + Knowledge of: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi a plus Pay Range $40,000-$56,000 USD **Benefits** + Health, dental, and vision coverage + Life insurance + 401 (k) w/company match 100% up to 3% and an additional 50% match of 2% + Paid time off + 11 Paid Holidays **_We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
