UT Health East Texas Physicians has 90+ primary and specialty care clinics serving communities across the region. Affiliated with UT Tyler School of Medicine, we provide top-tier education, innovative research, and residency programs training future medical leaders.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical assessments with regards to patient’s overall nutritional needs based on their medical diagnosis or performance enhancement requirements.
Follows recommended nutritional guidelines for all athletes and physically active individuals.
Provides nutrition related education to the area’s athletic programs and teams.
Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients of all age groups according to Nutrition Care Process, and serves as a nutrition resource to the medical staff, hospital staff and the community.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Registered Dietitian
Licensed in Texas

Preferred Job Requirements

At least 1 year clinical experience
