Mission of the Role: Multiply the CEO’s effectiveness by driving clarity, structure, and execution across OLI’s highest-leverage initiatives. Serve as a trusted partner, problem-solver, and operator who ensures the CEO and leadership team stay focused on the work that matters most. Prioritize getting things done, including executing on tasks the CEO is responsible for.

We’re hiring a
Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO as an integrator, problem-solver, and operator. This role is about leverage: keeping the CEO focused on the most important work while ensuring critical initiatives move forward with clarity and momentum.
You’ll work closely with the CEO in the space between strategy and execution - helping to frame decisions for the leadership team, and then diving deep into projects yourself. It’s a
jack-of-all-trades seat at the table that will expose you to the full scope of running and scaling a vertical SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities: CEO Partnership & Prioritization - Translate the CEO’s priorities into actionable plans with clear owners, milestones, and outcomes.
- Anticipate obstacles, propose solutions, and keep initiatives moving with limited CEO involvement.
- Prepare high-quality materials for executive communications, including decks for internal and external audiences.
Operating Rhythm - Lead execution of ad hoc projects that would otherwise distract the CEO.
- Strengthen the finance and operations function by proving operational support for key initiatives
- Drive high-quality agendas, outputs, and accountability for executive team meetings, offsites and quarterly planning.
- Support quarterly/annual planning, ensuring initiatives align with OLI’s North Star, BHAG, and Winning Moves.
- Turn ambiguous ideas into structured, actionable projects with clear metrics.
Brand & Communications - Partner with the CEO on brand rollout, storytelling (both social-media and in-person), and adoption.
- Draft crisp presentations, memos, and external decks.
- Drive media outreach for editorials and speaking engagements for CEO
Integration Across Functions - Act as connective tissue between departments, ensuring alignment and no dropped balls.
- Dive into projects spanning finance, operations or commercial.
Key Metrics of Success - CEO Leverage: ≥80% of CEO’s time focused on top-priority work.
- Strategic Initiatives: 90% of CEO-sponsored projects delivered on time with defined outcomes.
- Operating Rhythm: Leadership meetings consistently produce decisions, clear action owners, and >90% follow-through.
- Brand Rollout: All CEO brand deliverables (presentations, comms, external speaking) are “decision-ready” with minimal re-work.
- Cross-Functional Impact: Measurable improvements in 2–3 high-leverage projects where the Chief of Staff plays a lead role.
- Leadership Feedback: Positive executive team feedback (≥+50 NPS equivalent) on the role’s value in clarity, focus, and execution.
- CEO Quarterly Rating: Achieve at least a 4 out of 5 every quarter.
We’re Looking For: - 5–10 years in a high-performance environment (consulting, strategy/ops, Chief of Staff, or equivalent).
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
- High discretion and comfort working directly with executives and boards.
- Excellent communicator, able to translate complexity into clarity.
