Job Description

We are excited to announce that our beloved family-owned café, bakery, and restaurant is embarking on a new journey to a brand-new, freshly constructed location in Capitol Hill. We are almost a year old we have a experianced team from our previous bakery! We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic cashier to become a part of our family. [Please note we previously had cashier roles and closed the position. We are now adding more cashiers to keep up with demand so you are welcome to reapply if we did not interview you.]

If you're legally able to work in the US and are over 18, we want you to be a part of our restaurant.

This we are specificly looking for Tuesday and Thursday and we may have other hours avaible in the future.

Our store hours are:

• Sun; 8:30-4:00pm.
• Tue 8:30-2:30pm.
• Wed; 8:30-4:00pm.
• Thur; 8:30-6:00pm.
• Fri-Sat:8:30-8:00pm.

We'd be assigning you hours somewhere in that range.

Job Details:

• Unfortunately, we can't sponsor work visas.
• The interview will be in person.
• If you are great with people you have a high chance of getting this job.
• Barista experience is a plus. (Otherwise will be trained).
• Foodservice experience is a plus.
• Cashier experience is a plus.
• A food handler's permit is required but you could still send us your resume and get your permit online after (we'll refund).
• Must be able to show up on time and be reliable. Some of the time you’ll be the only one able to fulfill the role. Predictably is very important.

Also, we should mention that this is a tipped role and we are very busy at the moment. Tips are averaging about $5-$10 an hour at the moment.

• Are you available Tuesday and Thursday for the store times mentioned? [Shifts are 7-8 hours]
• Do you have any future plans longer than 2 weeks you know about that would require you not work in the next year?
• Are you ok with part time hours? [Note typically days will be about 8 hours but we only currently have 2 days available.]
